We see it every day — people driving in a way that totally contradicts the message they have bolted to the back of their car or truck. They invoke God and drive like hounds from hell. We started collecting them among ourselves as a defense against our rising blood pressure.

Join the club. Share your outrageous sightings of rotten driving or rude behavior that you’ve witnessed by someone with an “In God We Trust” plate. Once you start paying attention, you’ll be amazed.

If we collect enough of them, maybe our state legislators will reconsider their combined House and Senate Vote of 134-2 vote and realize these plates have become an oxymoronic joke.
